English for Speakers of Other Languages

        ESOL is offered to those non-native English-speaking students to solve their language learning problems and improve their learning skills and other abilities of aural, listening, reading and writing, enhancing the pronounce learning meanwhile.   

Basic Chinese intensified program is provided for all students.

Extra Curricular Programs

       Gradually SAIS will provide following selective extra curricular programs for students if they are interested in. The course will be opened if adequate students select them.

       Fine Arts Studio :

       Costume Design Studio Function: For exhibition of costumes, blueprints, and decorated pictures.

       Ceramic Design Studio: For ceramic sample design and manufacturing and appreciation.

        Folk Art Design Studio : For handcraft, scissor-cut and packing.

       Housekeeping Studio For embroidery, knitting and ikebana.

       Cooking Studio : For alimentation, cooking methods as washing, chopping, frying, steaming, stewing and braising; bread and dim sum making, baking and etc.

☆ Music and Dance

       Electronic Organ Room
       For electronic organs training.

       Instrumental Music Room
       For brass band, drum and horn band, folk music band, and orchestra band.

       Broadcasting Studio
       For movie, videotaping, rehearsal and live broadcasting.

       Mini Theatre

         For shows and get-together.

       Physical Education and Match

       Set up SAIS teams for gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, American football, softball, badminton, ping pong, swimming, track and field and cheering squad.

       Scientific and Technical Operation
       It includes aeromodelling, vehicle modeling, robot making, remote and induction control, sample making, chronometer and climate learning and small invention.

Serve and help the elderly, handicapped and children in hospital.

Public Relationship

Cooperate and maintain good relationship with overseas schools.

  Model UN

Some certain days are chosen for celebrating.

    Fashion shows of different nations and peoples, featured performances, singing and dancing and folk drama will be displayed.

        Enjoy featured dishes of different countries.

    Simulated UN Conference

    Meeting for world issues solutions.

        Special activity

     Competition between international schools will be held.
